There hasn't been a Cdn. PM with worldwide status and respect since Lester Pearson, and his was built around foreign policy - mainly the concept of UN Peackeepers. Mr. Carney has a huge chunk of the leadership of the "Free World" on board, and he hasn't had to do even a tiny bit of backroom maneuvering to acquire their support, from what I can tell.

He is bold, innovative and has a grasp of facts and events that other national leaders wish they could approximate...and, probably most of all, he seems completely fearless. Best of all - from a totally "interested observer" standpoint - he has Drumpf foaming at the mouth, and who doesn't like to see that?

Why do they want bad healthcare outcomes with private clinics and insurance and increasing student debt? I bet they don't know it is to sync up Canada's economy to the American one so the MAGAs can take over more easily. I bet Doug Ford and Pierre Poilievre don't even know why they are doing it.

He lost me forever (as if he ever had a chance) the first time I ever heard of him. A campaign ad that was so juvenile and appallingly bad that I couldn't believe political "professionals" had produced or OK'ed it.
