How concerned is the Canadian government with the Unemployed?

Evidently not too much. The federal 'Job Bank' website has been down for over a week, and I know this personally because unfortunately, I check it everyday. Service Canada must be either underfunded, understaffed, incompetent, simply don't give a shit, or all of the above.

From the meager CBC article:

"The federal government won't say how long its job bank has been down." - Not surprising
"No one in the department was available for an interview..." - again, not surprising
