NDP easily holds Toronto-Danforth in byelection: Harpercrites("Conservatives") finish weak third.

And the weirdest part is...the Conservative candidate is just barely ahead of the Green candidate.

Big win for the NDP...probably the end of the line for interim Liberal leader Bob Rae.

Craig Scott's current vote share(59.3%)is only 1.5% below the share Jack Layton himself took in the 2011 general election...and 2011 was the first and only time Jack won an overall majority of votes in the riding.

Let's hear it for Canada's true progressive party!
