GM On star was asked if it could help out the Red Cross with telephone calls
during the first few days of Harvey, so their Nova Scotia call center fielded calls from hungry and isolated Houstonians on behalf of the Red Cross. Now the calls are less about the emergency and more about people from outside of Houston wanting to volunteer or donate. I love it when high tech can be jerryrigged and make the world a better safer place. We really are a tiny little world when you think about it.
