Army commander orders Canadian soldiers to call out racism in the ranks

“We will hold our members accountable for their actions,” says army commander of new anti-racism order

Soldiers who witness — or become aware of — racism and hateful conduct in the ranks will be expected to blow the whistle to their superiors under a sweeping new order issued today by the commander of the Canadian Army.

The new directive, which is being distributed to all army units across the country, also warns of consequences for those who turn a blind eye.

"We will hold our members accountable for their actions," Lt.-Gen. Wayne Eyre wrote in the order, a copy of which was obtained by CBC News.

Soldiers "at all levels will be expected to intervene and report incidents," he said, "and where necessary, we will provide support to those affected by these behaviours.

"Failure to act is considered complicity in the event."

I live in the U.S. but have family and friends in Canada. Even though Canada doesn't have their own version of Fox with Canadian content they are able to watch Fox--same as it appears here in the U.S..

5. The conservatives tried very hard to get a Fox News of the North

I think it was going to be named something like Star News but people did not want it and the Liberals stopped it. They wanted it to be mandated that all cable companies put it on as a regular channel. It would not survive otherwise but that was rejected. Fox is not on the regular package but you cannot get the news package without it.
The regular Fox News is all over the world, the same version as the in the US, not like a CNN international. When I lived overseas, I noticed the dislike of Americans increased, and I think it was because people think Fox News was actually how people in the US think. It has done so much damage around the world.
