Just listened to 'Today in Parliament'

4 new MPs were giving their impressions of their new jobs. They included my MP Layla Moran; T-I-B's MP Lee Rowley; Rosie Duffield, the Labour MP for Canterbury; and David Linden, the SNP MP for Glasgow East. Was distinctly underwhelmed by Rowley, though at least he didn't go into raptures over blue passports, the way his leader has been doing!

As to Lee Rowley, I have covered the man elsewhere on this forum in a bit of detail. He does come across as little more than a Tory party mouthpiece. He is however much better at replying to correspondence than the previous Labour MP, who is now working with INEOS, the firm who want to start fracking in my local area

Given how much of a disappointment Natascha Engel was, people are still quite positive towards Rowley on the whole. However, I will not be surprised in the slightest if that changes over time. I have a number of concerns about Rowley but the one thing that sticks out from previous correspondence with him is a glaring lack of attention to detail.
