The new asbestos scandal? The luxury kitchen crisis killing young workers

Young workers producing luxury kitchens are dying from a disease you’ve probably never heard of - and experts warn it could be the new asbestos scandal.

Quartz worktops are everywhere on home renovation social media accounts but behind these glitzy makeovers is a hidden shame, an incurable lung disease affecting workers in their 20s, 30s and 40s.

As cases explode around the world, many are calling for a UK ban to save young lives being lost and avoid a new asbestos crisis.

Trumps first term, first days in office, first EO’s.
He lifted the ban on Asbestos and immediately huge shipments arrived from. you guessed it, Russia. (Russia Russia Russia) The largest exporter in the world.
The Pallets had Trump’s name pasted on each pallet in the shipments.
The beginning of trump hell. You were warned, FAFO.
Mesothelioma is not a “possibly never heard of” disease. I served late 60’s through early 70’s. As a Navy vet that was in the yards part of my service time, I have been diagnosed with potential asbestos scar tissue in my lungs. So many victims HAVE heard of it. Law suit commercials are on daily ranting about it.

Quartz countertops are linked to silicosis, an incurable and potentially fatal lung disease. The condition is caused by inhaling toxic crystalline silica dust, which is released when the artificial "engineered stone" is cut, shaped, or polished.

I believe asbestos was mentioned, possibly an error but the author.
Another lung monster to fear..
Again thank you, more to keep tabs of.
I see my error.
It said another asbestos like issue.
Apologies.
But thanks to Trump and Putie, it needs outlawed again. As well as this quartz issue.
Protect workers? Not this regime. Lots of cash in kitchen materials.
My brother is a cabinet maker. Most of them cost twice my house value.
Somebody is doing well.
Augusta. $100,000 for cabs. Extremely frequent.
Hope he protects his workers, he was full trump, but now a whiter one. I fill he still followers the cult. Loves his tax scams.
