Former UKIP candidate and boxing manager comes out as transgender

The former Frank Maloney, who as a UKIP candidate for Parliament spoke against marriage equality, has announced she is Kellie Maloney. She worked for years as manager for boxer Lennox Lewis. Kellie says she would have come out sooner, but she had fears as to how her transition would have been received in the boxing world.

A reminder that, among the other evils, adherence to RW politics actively prevents many people from either being honest about themselves or from confronting their own hang-ups and issues.
