Arts funding slashed in Scotland

overall arts funding was increased and the number of groups receiving grants more than doubled.

Some groups got reduced funding and one or two knocked out completely to finance that, but the arts in Scotland seem pretty healthy, all things considered.

(And I bet they never even THOUGHT about cutting out that godawful Tattoo)

is great for Scotland, and I suspect they would move heaven and earth to keep it.

As well they should.
