2024 Starts Now

And I think last night's results are promising on two fronts:

1) The overperformance in an off-year election in the face of what I will call pocketbook turmoil (gas/inflation) is absolutely incredible.

2) More importantly, HUGE pick-ups and defensive stands in governorships, secretaries of states, and statehouses - firewalls against meddling and interference, all of them. Huge. No. Enormous.

Odds of retaining or taking back the Senate (depending on how it all shakes out this cycle) and flipping the House back (presuming we lose this as well) have to be 3:1 or better on a POTUS election cycle.

But, keep the youth engaged and put the work in right f'n now!

This may be the generational flip I've been waiting for for the last 25 years. Don't let up.

I would think WV might be a tough one. Is the map going to be more favorable to democrats than this one?

I don't know. That is definitely a factor. Just as the Democrats established some structural advantages this cycle, the GOP may already be sitting on structural advantages for 2024 that we won't be able to overcome.
