If Mfume runs for the US Senate in 2024 assuming Cardin decides not to seek re-election?
How will Mfume do in the primary if he faces both John Sarbanes and Jaime Raskin?
Mfume’s base is going to be in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County. Sarbanes base is going to be in the Baltimore Suburbs and Eastern MD, Raskin’s base is going to be in the Washington DC suburbs and Western MD. Southern MD could go either way.
Mfume will be slightly over 75 years old if he becomes a US Senator similar to Peter Welch in VT.
