To Keep Cilantro Fresh for Weeks

Rinse the cilantro in cold water and lay it on a paper towel. Put another wet paper towel over it or just fold it over and store in an airtight container and place in fridge. We have done this a number of times and it keeps the cilantro fresh for weeks. Works for lettuce too, especially fresh picked lettuce from the garden.

I use it for celery (in fact, if the celery is limp, it will freshen it up), lettuce, green beans, fresh herbs, asparagus....you get the point. It works like a charm. I have kept lettuce for weeks.
