(105 posts)1. Here are two ways that work for me
Try holding down the Ctrl key while you click, or, if your mouse has configurable buttons, assign one of them to be "middle button."
These methods have worked for me for several releases of several browsers.

so forgive me if this is dumb. You can right click on the link and pick "open link in new tab".

Go to Internet Options>> General Tab>> Under "Tabs" click Settings>>
