Firefox spell check using British language spelling, not American.

Isn't that weird?

FF 30, added on with teh new Ubuntu Gnome OS a month or so ago.

It says "color" is a spelling error, and points me to "colour, etc.

Anyone run across this before?

Now , I do not mind, this is not a problem that necessarily needs solving, just curious if this is common.

Then right-click a blank area of the reply window's text box go down to Languages and see if more than one is available. If Eng_US isn't available you can try to add it and then see if you can set it as default.

It gave me 4 choices...wonder what "English-South Africa" would have been like?

The "English-United Kingdom" had been checked..
I re-set it for American.

Had no idea that function was possible.... many thanks.
