scrolling gone crazy

My grandson, when it starts with a lead in like this you know it's trouble, did something and now every scale zooms to the top. Anything that has a continuum of some sort zooms to the extreme.

when I try to copy and paste or check the spelling the screen flashes on and off way too fast to do anything with it.

I'm sure it must be an easy fix, if only I had a clue what needs to be turned on or off. So far no success so if anyone knows or has an idea what the heck I need to do please let me know.

I had an almost identical problem. I'm no expert on computers, so I was a bit panicky until.... Ta-dah! Eventually, and strictly by a accident, I realized that a key was 'stuck' in the down position on the number row of the keyboard. (That'll teach me to clean it.) Grandson? Sticky fingers, maybe? I hope it's a simple fix.

remote into your pc using mikogo.com and get you fixed up. lord knows i've had to help countless family or friends using it. it's free all the person has to do is create an account then send you the session id number. you then goto a go.mikogo.com (if possible) and enter the session number. allow the program to run then you will be able to see that person's screen all you have to do from there is reverse the host and the other person will be able to see your screen and tell you what to turn off.

maybe use the Scroll Lock key to keep it from automatically scrolling. Also check to see if the "up" arrow key is stuck.

Keyboards are pretty cheap so if all else fails replace that.
