where did Windows DVD Maker go?

I upgraded to 10 and what? I can't burn a dvd any more? They did away with this? Why?

What do people use now to burn DVDs? Am I the only one that still does this?

3. Careful when installing imgburn.

They bundle other programs into the installer to help defray costs. Read the screens carefully during install so you can opt out of unwanted programs.

CDBurnerXP is another good burning software (same warning about installer). It's interface is a bit clearer if you are burning lots of files to a single DVD.

I use both.

7. It does seem to work well.

I've used it in the past but don't usually bother with it. I generally go to MajorGeeks for free software downloads. But I always read the screens so I don't get a Yahoo toolbar or some such.

2. It disappeared in Windows 8. Just like a lot of things disappeared in 8 &10.

Some you can get from their Apps Store if you go through the hassle of registering with M$.
