Anyone else having oodles of trouble with YouTube lately ??
I'd never paid much attention to YouTube previously, but recently I found some music videos I didn't even know existed and bookmarked them. I've played all of them a few times, but for the last several days I have been able to play *anything* on YouTube. I keep getting the message "An error occurred. Please try again later." and a link to "learn more" (not useful). At first, it seemed that repeatedly loading the page would eventually fix the problem, but I had videos that quit in the middle. Performance has just kept degrading until I can no longer play *anythiing* in YouTube. I have tried disabling all add-ons, blockers, etc. but that hasn't helped at all.
Any ideas? Is anyone else having similar problems?
Im using Firefox 45.0.2, which I upgraded to a few days ago. I think it *might* be part of the problem, but I haven't seen a newer release yet.
I'm running OS X 10.7 on a Core2Duo iMac. I have used YouTube without much trouble even on 10.6.8, so I don't think the age of the OS is the issue.

(36,263 posts)I spent most of yesterday "retrograding" to 10.6.8, and the problem has magically gone away ... and YouTube doesn't seem to care about AdBlocker either.
