PP CS 5.5 exported mp4 audio

I made a slideshow with an audio soundtrack. I exported it to a usb thumbdrive. It plays back wonderfully on my computer...but when plugged into a dvd player it will only playback the video. It gives an error message that audio format is not supported. is there a setting I can use when creating and exporting a slideshow that will allow it to be played on a computer and a television from a thumbdrive?

AC-3: 48 kHz sampling rate, 1 to 5.1 (6) channels, up to 448 kbit/s;

DTS: 48 kHz or 96 kHz sampling rate; channel layouts = 2.0, 2.1, 5.0, 5.1, 6.1; bitrates for 2.0 and 2.1 = 377.25 and 503.25 kbit/s, bitrates for 5.x and 6.1 = 754.5 and 1509.75 kbit/s;[12]

MP2: 48 kHz sampling rate, 1 to 7.1 channels, up to 912 kbit/s.

Most DVD players with a USB input will also handle MP3.

mp4 is a container format, audio is typically some flavor of AAC but not necessarily a format plain vanilla dvd players will recognize.

Which software are you exporting your slideshow from?

I rendering initially with wave audio...when that did not work I rendered it with mp3 audio...no dice there either...works fine either way as a finished product on the computer but no audio when attempted via usb port on a dvd player...

Maybe try resampling the audio to 48kHz in the export settings.

Compact Disc audio is 44.1 kHz

Sorry I'm not much help.

Maybe a Premiere Pro person will be along. I don't have it on any of my machines.
