anyone else having a Gmail issue? Getting two errors - 500, and 502 *FIXED

i get the 500 error when trying to sign in, and the 502 error when trying to check my Gmail.

haven't found any other reports of issues. Been happening for the past half hour.

NOTE - after about 35 minutes gmail came back, then my hangouts contact list, then my tasks in my calendar.

Something was briefly amiss.

No problems using Chrome, Firefox, or EasyMail on Windows. No issues with Android, either.

Everything Google is so huge that it hiccups once in a while. Blogs that are on blogspot, calendar, gmail... I'm not sure that their servers get overloaded. I think they just need to update once in a while, or have to shift loads and such, all of which requires an occasional reboot. I have learned not to get excited, but just to give it half an hour or so. Considering their numbers of users, their reliability is actually pretty damned good.
