Just got an email from Microsoft....

Windows 11 is in beta.
Need to be on the Windows Insider program though. Look at your Windows Update settings there should be a menu option for insider.

is too old to use it.

I was going to check it out but wait for a year or so and see how it went for others. I love this computer so I guess I will wait even longer, I have rarely liked a computer as well as this one.

If that's the case, I'm not interested. I've no use for app stores or cloud services, and I log in with a local ID I use on my own network.

Still running 7 but getting hard to keep it going, I will go the Linux route when this becomes too much...
