Halp! - How eject a USB from android?! - emergency! - ON EDIT: Fixed!

Last edited Sun May 1, 2022, 01:14 AM - Edit history (1)

O.K., just got introduced to and bought a SanDisk dual usb (A & C), downloaded the Memory Zone app, managed to do most of the basics prior to connecting the USB to the android.

Done for that part. Now:

*** HOW TO EJECT the USB? Am not going to pull it out until somebody here or Google or YouTube tells me to do it or HOW to get to the EJECT stage of things!

On both of my Samsung devices, it's in the 'Storage' section of 'Settings'. The exact menu hierarchy varies with the flavor of Android.

In 'Storage', you should see your USB drive, along with internal storage and SD drives. If you select the drive, you should have the option to 'Unmount'. On one of my devices, it's a text menu option named 'Unmount'; the other just has a down arrow symbol.
