MHz Worldview (English-language newscasts from around the world and European dramas) and NHK World (the English-language service of Japan's government broadcaster), and some local stations offer live streaming apps.

streaming Zimmerman trial. Looks like cant be done.

I don't watch trials myself, but there may be some channel that has streaming on its website.

Mo local or network channels, but they stream all the cable news channels, including MSNBC.

You have to be a FIOS subscriber to use the app.

In use, it is a little unstable, but not terrible.
