How do I get DuckDuckGo as my safari home page instead of google??

If you are on DuckDuckGo at the time you do this, you can choose "Set to current page"

Go to Safari's preferences, general tap, set home page.

You cannot set DuckDuckGo as your default search engine.

However #1 You can install a safari extension to put a DuckDuckGo button on your menu bar.

However #2 The next Mac OS, Yosemite, WILL let you set DuckDuckGo your default search engine.
