Damn, anyone else having trouble printing since the upgrade to "Big Sur" ????

Have gone onto the apple help website and they give instructions to make the updates to the printer, but doesn't work. I think I've got to buy a new printer. Ugh...... anyone?? Thanks.

Or call their support. Depending on the age of your printer,
they should have the software you need. My recommendation, always check your essential software compatibility prior to updates. That is why I am still on Catalina. It saves me headaches I, always wait one year at least to update my operating system.

It is a constant challenge. You have a working printer that has to be discarded in order to keep your OS
current. Of course, you want to keep your OS reasonably current for security purposes at the same
time you have both older software and peripherals that you need or like.

I, too, have an older HP like yours from 2012 works perfectly. As I recall there is no update available.

It is great that you were able to keep your printer online for that long.

Now you can enjoy the upgrade in technology. I do really enjoy wireless printing
and being able to print from all devices. Now to find the best printer for your needs...
