Apple Support suggested to... restart the iMac.. Worked

(265 posts)Sometimes it helps to use PDF software. One option is Adobe Reader, which is free and easily findable on the internet. Also PDFs are better behaved on computers than on cell phones.

(26,593 posts)Click on them in mail and they "preview", then say "done" and you are back to mail.
Download (on a phone, to "files" wherever you set the default location) and they will open.
Varies a bit whether ios (phone or ipad) or computer, but really the same deal.
Can you give more details?

When all else fail, restart...
