MacBook Air--faded colors, contrast off

I think it's something that could be fixed in system settings/accessibility, but I suddenly have no available buttons to change any of the visuals there. I've done some checking and there's a thing I can try in safe mode, but does anyone happen to know a really easy way to fix it by any chance?

1. I don't but you can call Mac Help for free if you have your IMEI or serial number, even if AppleCare is finished.

Thanks. I do have a little more AppleCare left on this puppy, and they are so nice and helpful.

Will wonders never cease? In case it happens to anyone else--just because the buttons don't show, doesn't mean they're not there. I clicked where they should have been and boom, they popped up. I don't know what happened, but when the contrast got changed, it made certain colors disappear.

4. I have dark mode extensions on my browsers, the system has a dark mode and so do many sites.

Stuff just disappears.

So glad that you solved it by the process I use.

PUNCH EVERY DAMN BUTTON AND EVERY MENU ITEM UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS,

All except that "self-destruct" one.

Happy computing.
