Hundreds of MacOS tips.

https://saurabhs.org/macos-tips

Enjoy!

Extra credit:

The geek trick I often use is to type "cd" into a terminal window and then drag a folder icon into that window then hit return. That changes directory to that folder. All the spaces are escaped this way with one drag!

I have a bunch of perl scripts to rename files, and others. "convertwebp" is a lifesaver. I'll post these scripts someday soon. Preview will convert file types, as will right/control click "Quick Actions" but not on 30 files at once, that I know of.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
