do you use wiki.archlinux.org? best linux resource on the web in general nevermind for arch. if archwiki has good things to say i take it as a glowing recommendation. if it has lots of good things to say, and lots of resources and tips, then i stop and pay attention. it has lots of good dirt on enlightenment.

i especially liked this bit from enlightenment's home page, first sentence, first paragraph.. it will..

'..help you create beautiful user interfaces with much less work than doing it the old fashioned way and fighting with traditional toolkits..'

It's bit of a pain to get it just how you like it, but not nearly as demanding as it was just a couple years ago. If you're thinking about it, I'd suggest you go ahead and give it a shot. Once I got it configured how I wanted it on this machine (an oooollllllddddd inspiron 2200), I basically got to forget about it. And that's exactly what I wanted
