Why should we be surprised? No mention of sit-in at NYT

Just like they ignored Occupy Wall Street for a week until an NYPD pepper-spraying assault made it too big a story to be silenced. The masthead used to proclaim "All the News That's Fit to Print." All that remains of the New York Times today is the masthead.

about 4 hours ago and a video was posted a couple hours later. WaPo, LA Times and many dozens of other papers are covering. The Atlantic already has an "in-depth" article. PBS opened with the story, and network and cable news are covering it.

This is good. Be happy. Please note that the Democratic caucus is taking a cue from the success of movements like OWS, BLM, and Sanders that people want this kind of attempt to force change.

Although it's hardly the first demonstration for many of them, it's been a very long time since most used this kind of tactic. My guess is floors are seeming a lot harder at their ages.

They're broadcasting from the social media feeds that the Reps themselves are sending, video.
