If Gabby Giffords(D-AZ) had not been shot, Would she be serving in the US Congress with her husband?

In 2012- Giffords-D would have run for re-election for the US House from AZ-2cd and won re-election in 2012, 2014, and 2016.
In 2018- Giffords-D would have run for the US Senate and won.
In 2020- Mark Kelly-D and/or Krysten Sinema-D would be seeking the Democratic nomination to the US Senate.

The tragedy seemed to be the impetus for his career change.

I'm glad he did, and I'm glad he won, I just think he'd have stayed an astronaut otherwise.

Gabby Giffords-D would be treating Kyrsten Sinema-D as her younger sister. AZ could be state with 2 female US Senators like MN(Klobuchar-D and Smith-D),NV(Cortez Masto-D and Rosen-D),NH(Shaheen-D and Hassan-D), and WA(Murray-D and Cantwell-D)
