If Leahy(D-VT) doesn't seek re-election in 2022, VTAG Donovan-D will be Leahy's likely successor.
Donovan-D won 3 statewide elections in VT(Attorney General in 2016,2018, and 2020) with more than 60 percent of the popular vote.
Donovan-D is much younger than every current VT Democratic statewide elected official except Lt Governor Gray-D. Gray-D is better of running for re-election to the VTLG and then running for US Senate when Sanders-I/D retires. 2024 or 2030.
