I'm curious as to why Debbie Wasserman-Schultz has had a make-over

Article here: http://www.styleite.com/media/debbie-wasserman-schultz-hair/#2

... just last month, Wasserman Schultz taped her own “It Gets Better” video, focusing on the bullying her natural locks engendered when she was younger.

“When I was in school, I was teased mercilessly, all the time, about my curly hair. Kids even made up a mean song about me and sang it over and over. It made me so sad. But now my hair is my signature look, and I wouldn’t change it for anyone, because it’s part of what makes me who I am. So when you’re in school, remember, it only gets better from here.”

Hey, and before everyone jumps on me about discussing the make-over of a female politician - I think this is a valid topic to post here, BECAUSE
I'm hoping that her plan is to come out and jump on anyone in the media that comments on her new look to illustrate the fact that females are regularly judged on looks and not only on their qualifications as they should be !!!

As a woman, I get bored with my hair and will do something completely off the wall for awhile, then go back to the way it was. Maybe she just got sick of it. She looks good, though.

I dramatically change my appearance every now and then - beard, no beard, long hair, short hair, even had it bleached blond once just for fun.

In general, men are pretty boring in that department.

There will be comments on DWS's appearance. Unless...

Time for the Flotus to break out one of her signature sleeveless dresses. Then ensuing uproar will drown out all criticism of DWS (and every other woman on the public stage) for, at least, a week.

As are we all. I, for instance, was at one time slim with long blonde hair. Now I'm fat and bald. See? A makeover. Maybe not as voluntary, but time marches on.

After my sister went through her first bout of breast cancer, she changes her look, too. Fresh start, fresh look.

Also, could be a wig. My hair lady wants to straighten my hair cuz it's all fashionable right now. I told her that when I was in college it was the fashion too and we girls spent hours in the dorms ironing each others hair, yes with a clothing iron. I said no thanks, but good for Debbie for wanting a different look, just because.

I would.

It get's better, I'm no longer teased, but I'd still like a new left leg to match the right one.

since she is so much busier now. I have extremely curly hair and I have to wash every single day to keep it "presentable" in public. I loved her natural look, but maybe she just could not maintain it at this time. She looks nice with her new look as well, I do agree.

She's sporting a much softer look and that's the wise choice for most of us after a certain point.

at times we change it. Then go back again. I like the new look. I also like the old look. She still is intelligent inside and out.
