Week 10 Obamacare signups - More than 2 million confirmed

http://obamacaresignups.net/

The blogger Brainwrap has the most comprehensive and well documented numbers. Because each state updates at different time the enrollment numbers are updated at different times.

These figures do not reflect the large increase since the first of December.

The numbers need to be rolling across the bottom of the screen on every news channel.

It's got momentum and many people are already enjoying benefits of ACA. Republican'ts can kiss my ass.

about the ACA in Florida. The majority of those interviewed were folks working to educate and inform folks about the ACA, and people that had signed up (and were happy) and people that hadn't signed up yet, but were seeking to ... then the air the uninsured &quot President) Obama did it and I hate everything about (President) Obama so I hate ObamaCare" guy.

Here is a summation of the interview:

Interviewer: "What do you think about ObamaCare?

Uninsured Guy: "I hate it."

Interviewer: "What do you hate about it?

Uninsured Guy: "Well ... It's not affordable."

Interviewer: "Have you been to the site?

Uninsured Guy: "No. But why should I? it'll just tell me that I can't afford it."

Interviewer: "Have you heard about the subsidies that make it affordable for most people?"

Uninsured Guy: "No. I haven't really looked into anything about ObamaCare, but I don't believe that."

Interviewer: "Will you look into the ACA?"

Uninsured Guy: "Probably not ... I hate ObamaCare."

{Note: I cannot express the rage dripping from Uninsured Guy's voice whenever he said (President) Obama or ObamaCare.}

How I wish the Interviewer had asked Uninsured Guy: "You 'hate' something you know nothing about and are unwilling to educate yourself because you 'hate' it. Dude, Do you realize how ignorant you sound?"

Thanks!

I just wonder how any of those Republicans could look at that column that gives the number of uninsured, and not worry about the implications of having such huge numbers of people without access to any health care. I would think that would be a national security issue.

Although they'll clearly go down kicking and screaming. I heard Boehner on a news clip the other day still referring to the ACA as a "bill".

I expect clinic will be slammed, but at least I don't have to worry how I'm going to be able to treat a patient who doesn't have insurance.

No more referrals to charity organizations.

No more sending imaging referrals out on a financial aid basis.

Just the practice of good medicine.

And happy, healthy patients...
