Barack Obama

Theres no place like home for President Obama.
After a fairly rotten week in Washington, the president bolted the Beltway and crashed a night at his old digs in the Hyde Park neighborhood of the Windy City for the first time in 14 months.
He awoke Saturday morning with the sun shining. There was nothing on his schedule. So he took a walk to the home of good friend Martin Nesbitt, his 2008 campaign treasurer and a pickup basketball game regular.
Nesbitt lives only four blocks away, but for the embattled president it might have been a walk he hoped would never end.

(11,856 posts)"embattled President." Really ? by what and whom. Just because some writer/editor wants to frame it like this ?
It just never ends.....
America must find a way to make the media simple reporters of facts and not their opinion or vested interest instructions.

(882 posts)He should stop by and say hello. It would be nice boost just before the recall election Tuesday.
Edit to add that in any case, he definitely deserves the break.
