Florida man takes on bizarre challenge of eating raw chicken every day

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man has been chowing down on raw chicken daily in a bizarre challenge to find out if eating raw meat isn’t as horrifying as it seems.

John, who has chosen not to share his last name for privacy reasons, has been filming himself eating slabs of raw chicken and chugging raw eggs for his 400,000 Instagram followers for more than a month now. He said he plans to eat raw chicken every day until he “gets a tummy ache.”

Eating raw chicken is strongly advised against because it can cause bloody diarrhea, fever, vomiting, stomach cramps, parasites and more.

This isn’t the first time John has experimented with raw meat. In 2021, John said he would sit outside Whole Foods and try different raw meats, including beef, kangaroo and veal brain. ...............(more)

Although, it will be interesting to see if we were lied to about raw chicken.

He'll either be very tough, or very dead.

On the ancestral diet note, some swear by raw eggs in red wine for breakfast. And in UK they do not wash eggs. Too sterilizing.

It's probably a con job...

He is either eating irradiated meat or he is soaking the pieces in a sanitizer like phosphoric acid, and rinsing before eating, while also taking antibiotics.

I don't trust these "actors" who make huge amounts of money off their subscriber base and viewership numbers. Too many times they are just scripted schticks and not what they seem.
