Dumb Criminals: Australian Man Destroys Karaoke Machine With Shovel
A PUMPING karaoke party in suburban Tully was brought to a crashing halt when a man, outraged by the musical repertoire of guests, attacked the offending machine with a shovel.
The party at the Pease St home was believed to have been raging for some time on Friday when the man was thought to have taken offence to the vocal stylings of some guests who were testing their singing skills with the portable karaoke machine.
Police said he went to the home about 11.50pm carrying a shovel and used it to smash the machine several times before leaving.
The Cairns Post is yet to determine just exactly which tune raised the ire of the mystery man who remains at large, but it is believed he also expressed his unhappiness to party guests before his swift departure.
