Woman arrested for beating boyfriend with jar of jellyfish

A South Carolina woman was arrested over the weekend after she allegedly hit her boyfriend with a jar of jellyfish.

Spartanburg County deputies told WHNS that 38-year-old April Markel-Boshard became angry because her boyfriend, Jerry Eversole, would not take her to the store, claiming she was drunk.

That’s when Markel-Boshard smashed Eversole’s head with a glass globe containing a jellyfish and began scratching at his face.

Authorities took the Hanahan woman into custody and charged her with criminal domestic violence first offense.
