Jane Sanders suggests Bernie’s interview with New York Daily News was too hard

Now that the New York Daily News has endorsed Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders after having conducted hour long editorial board interviews with them both, it turns out Bernie’s wife Jane Sanders isn’t pleased with how it all went down. She’s not complaining about the endorsement, but rather the nature of the interview that her husband was put through. Based on her subsequent words to CNN, it appears she believed the interviewers were too hard on her husband.

Likening the editorial board interview to an “inquisition,” Jane Sanders – who was in the room while it was conducted – appears to believe that Bernie Sanders was ambushed. She feels that he was interrupted too many times and wasn’t allowed to finish his answers. Observers have been able to look at the transcript to judge for themselves whether the think he was treated fairly by the interviewers. However, even that appears to be a sore spot for Jane: “We didn’t realize they had planned to release the transcript.”

Going on to seemingly suggest that the New York Daily News may have been trying to embarrass her husband, Jane states that “It became a little bit more evident what they were trying to do.”

It’s not clear why Bernie Sanders would have sat down for an editorial board interview with a major New York newspaper without he and his campaign first making themselves aware of the ground rules, or studying up on the newspaper’s precedent from past elections. In any case, with the NYDN having emphatically endorsed Clinton over Sanders based on the two interviews, it appears the Sanders campaign is looking to do damage control

Poor Bernie could not handle to many questions on interview.....and he wants to be president...

are going to get harder, decisions are going to get harder, the hours are going to be long, maybe they will allow Bernie to go home and rest, the campaign trail has been long. Also, Jane's is saying something many of us knew for some time.

Ummm ... do they have any idea what they would face in the general once the right-wing machine directs its focus on the Sanders campaign? The Daily News will seem like a walk in the park.

shite?! Can you imagine if Hillary whined about her "inquisition"? Oh wait.. Hillary had no problem answering the tough questions.

If I were a BS camp advisor.. I would tell them to quit whining about it.. it's only making people more curious on how he blew his interview.

Oh never mind.. keep @ it BS & JS.

Thank you, Iaaa~
