43 state House Democrats throw their backing to Hillary Clinton~Pennsylvania! Nice pic

WIth the front of the state Capitol as the backdrop, House Democratic Leader Frank Dermody of Allegheny County announced the presidential choice of a half of his caucus: Hillary Clinton. (Jan Murphy/PennLive)

Standing on the front steps of the state Capitol on Wednesday, a band of House Democratic lawmakers announced which of the Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders has their backing.

The sign on the front of the podium gave it away: Hillary.

House Democratic Leader Frank Dermody described Clinton as the "one candidate in the race for president who has the knowledge, experience and the drive to make a real difference in people's lives."

He said she has "proven over the years that she can fix the problems" people have in their daily lives: access to health care, college affordability, and income equality
.

Among the 43 House Democrats endorsing Clinton are the caucus' entire leadership team, along with representatives that span the state.
