Hi Bad Dog! How's London-town?

Oh, wait, you're in Southhampton or another south coast town, no?

I've not been to London this year. It's a beautiful sunny day in Southampton. I've pegged some jumpers out on the line.

It's gorgeous here in Paris, as well. One of those special, rare Paris spring days. Chestnuts are blossoming all over.

Serious question. I remember hearing a radio programme in which Python sketches were being used to engage the French.

So much of it went over their heads that the struggle usually wasn't worth it.

I remember they did enjoy the French castle scene in "Holy Grail", even though they didn't catch a lot.

I had to translate most of it into French to get the funny across.

"I fart in your general direction..."

"Je pète dans votre direction générale"

Thank you, I think it works..."

Thanks for that!

Go to the bottom left hand corner of the Message Text and there's a "DURec" button there to click on.. that ups the count of the RECS.

I didn't absorb this until I'd been here a while. Five recs will make the post show up in the "Greatest Threads" section. The more recs, the higher it will show up in the list. It goes away from that list after 24 hours. So if you're doing Hillary only business (like this thread), don't rec it (although it's fine to rec the GDP post that OP requested recs for). Replies that hit milestones (25, 50, 75, 100) will get bumped up to the top in Latest Threads.

It helps to know how things work.

Btw, as an Englishman I'm strictly neutral on the Sanders/Clinton nomination. However, I have found that Clinton supporters are a lot nicer and a lot less aggressive than some in the Sanders camp.
