Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI wonder what Paul Song's SIL thinks about his "whore" remark?
I mean, Laura Ling publicly thanked both Bill and Hillary Clinton for her release from North Korea, and she and her husband also did this:
This whole thing is just appalling to me, you know? The "whore" was used deliberately.

(41,991 posts)What's offensive to me, is not so much that the word was used, but the denial of what the intent of its use was. Apparently there are liberals who believe we live in a post sexist, post-racist society. They also believe, apparently in magical plasticity of definitions. Which is in alignment of evidence of other --areas--of magical thinking.

(34,460 posts)The Sanders campaign has presented absolutely NO evidence of quid pro quo involving Clinton.
This one is a 360 degree FAIL.

(26,080 posts)There is definitely implied "guilt by association" re: Lisa and Laura Ling, which isn't fair to them. I've seen some twitter backlash against Laura Ling.

Under the makeup of today's Congress there is no way there will be Medicare for all. Maybe at the earliest when the next census comes, but redistricting has made it virtually impossible. Bernie can promise anything he wants, but it does matter whether whether it can realistically happen or not.
I have to wonder if the Los Angeles Radiation Oncology Center, which is part of Vantage Oncology is very happy with the type of publicity Dr. Song is receiving

He meant the OTHER "corporate Democratic whores"
And what's so galling is sure, Bernie will denounce it as inappropriate, and the MSM will report on his contrition while within his rank-and-file supporters they're twisting every way til Tuesday to prove it's true and not offensive.
Hey, win-win, right Bernie?
Personally, this was my peak anti-Bernie moment. Thank all things good in this world that I don't have to ever vote for the guy.
