Bernie Sanders holds big rally in Washington Square Park

Link

Sanders held a rally in Washington Square Park, which was closed all day Wednesday at the request of the Secret Service. 6,500 people were estimated to be in the park for the rally with an additional 5,000 supporters outside the park for a total of 11,500.

Where were the other 15,500? Were they hiding in the trees?

Thanks for this post. But the second link leads to ABC News, rather than to the Google Satellite Map.

6. Isn't it strange that the media are going with Sanders math rather than what the NYPD estimated?

NONE are questioning it.

But I guess, they'll do anything to prop up the weaker Democratic nominee, to set him up for a take-down when they can't stop Trump from forcing a win for the Republican Party nom.

or around it to hear free music or see what is going on. It's not like going to an auditorium expressly to worship at Bernie's feet.
Thousands of people use the park every day with or without Bernie.

I'm sure he drew his usual throng of adherents but I think he's not as "shiny" as he was while he was hanging out in Tiny State/Caucus Land.
