because the rally was only attended by 11,000 people, not 27,000.

of New York. Some are from the city's burroughs. Don't be misled that they are all from the city.

When I lived in NYC, I was a block from the Hayden Planitarium and American Museum of Natural History.

It seemed that every week or two there was a big event going on there, attracting hundreds or even thousands of people. It got to be routine. The only reason it annoyed me was they made parking in the area impossible (I didn't have the money to park in a garage)

Big rallies? NBD. The location of Sanders' rally last night was brilliant - Washington Square Park is surrounded by NYU dormitories housing roughly 11,000 students, guaranteeing a big turnout even though it was less than half the reported 27,000. Reports also are that many, if not most, of those at the rally were students and/or tourists. That means none of them will be able to vote in the primary on Tuesday.

Makes for good photo ops and news reports, but like in many other states, they're not indicative of true Sanders support or strength at the polls.

Attendance at the rally was about 11,000 people.

NYU dormitories hold 11,000 people.

Coincidence?

Crowds will always be made up of kids too young to vote, non-citizens and a smattering of folks who have not yet decided who to vote for yet.

Myself, I don't have time to go to political rallies.
