I have never, EVER seen Sanders meeting with people, talking to them, sitting down with them, etc.

All we ever see is him make his grand entrance to rallies with Jane in tow, waving, dismissing her, then launching into "we started at 3% in the polls..."

Then when the same tired stump speech is over, he waves, maybe shakes a few hands of the people in the front row, then is whisked out of the hall.

I know this isn't truly important in the big picture, but we never see him having a hot dog with some people at Nathan's in Coney Island, or a slice of pizza at Ray's in Manhattan, or walking down the street and stopping to talk to people.

He certainly hasn't deigned to visit projects, slums, poor neighborhoods, hospitals, elderly facilities, etc. He just doesn't seem to be comfortable around "average" people.

On the other hand, Almost every place she goes, Hillary Clinton mingles, shakes hands, plays with people (like she did on Friday up in Harlem), dances, SMILES, and generally looks as though she likes being around people.

Not to contradict you, but...

Bernie and his handlers don't speak to the common people because they know Bernie's tendency to talk instead of listen won't play well. It would pop the bubble of the "Perfect Candidate."

And that can't happen.

....reason to vote for someone, but it sure helps.

If he was a little more practical and realistic (and didn't have Hillary Clinton as his opponent), his demeanor wouldn't stop me from voting for Sanders in the primary. But he's wrong/off on all counts.

As I've said before, she's no Barack Obama but she still has that little something else that other candidates don't have. I'll get destroyed for saying this, but I'd even take John Kasich's personality and charisma over Sanders'.

Hillary hangs around to talk to people. Bernie and Jane can't get off the stage fast enough. I don't think Bernie likes people.

Standing on a stage in a spotlight telling a mass of people someone else owes them an apology. God forbid he actually listen to their real life day to day issues common folk face. None of that is important as his bleeding heart.
