If you're wondering what happened to that thread I started...

I wrote an OP the other day in GDP that defended Hillary raising money legally, which included raising it from whoever she wanted.

The thread got a lot of responses and there was actually some decent back-n-forth without the usual stupidities.

Then, a BSer accused me of supporting Citizens United. He said Hillary was raising money illegally and quasi-illegally. I called him out for the baseless lie, asked him to provide proof to support his lie or to - as I put it - "with all due respect, ST*U."

That comment earned me a hide, and locked me out from making any further comments in a thread I started. This is a patently unfair practice, because it allows people to make comments against my posts while I am not allowed access to defend my position.

So, I did what I always do when this happens: I deleted my OP and all of my posts I had made in the thread. That takes the OP out of circulation for further comments as deleting an OP locks the thread, and by deleting all of my further comments, it makes mincemeat of any comments made in response to my posts, as my posts are now gone.

I'll be damned if I'm going to allow those people to comment on my OPs while I myself have been locked out from doing so.

It's very clear in the TOS that DU is here to support the Democratic nominee.

In Democratic primaries, members may support whomever they choose. But when general election season begins, DU members must support Democratic nominees.

So whomever that maybe, either they get behind the nominee, shut up, or get out of DU.

BS always makes it sound as if Hillary was behind Citizens United when it was in fact a right wing funded hate video filled with lies targeting Hillary Clinton. The Supreme Court ruled against Hillary thus opening up the flood gates for right wing spending on elections.

BS and his followers are ignorant of facts.

Who tried to blame Citizens United on Obama. I corrected him pretty quickly that it was the Republican appointed judges on the Supreme Court who made the decision. I added that it was for this reason it was important the Democrats win no matter who the candidate.

I actually got near unanimous agreement from the other Sanders supporters at the table

Your "total deletion" tactic is the only way to deal with their insidious censorship.
