All weekend we heard that Sanders has won 8 of the last nine caucus/primary states. How?

Since March 15, here are the states that have voted:

Florida - Clinton
Illinois - Clinton
Missouri - Clinton
North Carolina - Clinton
Ohio - Clinton
Arizona - Clinton
Idaho - Sanders
Utah - Sanders
Alaska - Sanders
Hawaii - Sanders
Washington - Sanders
Wisconsin - Sanders
Wyoming - Sanders (actually a tie for delegates)

That's only seven, and several very very small states delegate-wise.

....and that's 16 states/territories back.

Prior to winning in Idaho (and the other two states that night), the last state he won was Democrats Abroad on March 9 and Michigan on March 8.

Clinton won Northern Marianas, too, on March 12. They're not including that.

Voting by Democrats Abroad concluded on the 8th of March. The results weren't released until the 21st. They're counting that later date and throwing it in to boost the numbers.

So you can expect their math on this to be incorrect as well.

And besides, the southern states don't count RIGHT?

How much has he closed the deligate gap? All those wins and nothing to show for it. All those wins can be wiped out by a good night in New York. It's not about momentum, it's about math.
