Thank you Hillary for supporting down ballot candidates..

This is my first post in here..and I just wanted to say thank you to the Clinton campaign for taking the bruising going on.. to send money down ballot and support the state and local candidates.

I wish Citizens United were kaput.. but we are fighting Koch Brothers money on a state level.. and if the DNC and those who are going out there to raise money for our state candidates were not willing to do that.. it would be all that anyone would hear, the Koch brothers and other right wing affiliates.

Its a thankless job.. I supported Martin O'Malley because he came out and put in the time to campaign with and helped raise the money supporting Hatch when he ran against Branstad our Governor.. We were so appreciative of his coming out from MD in 2012..

Hopefully we will get the people in to the office that will take back the senate and we can overturn Citizens United.. and actually clean that mess up

But its going to take getting state officials elected and not just the President.

So again.. Thank you SOS Clinton.. you are taking a lot of heat.. but in the long run maybe we can really get it done if we can get our people to take back the senate.. (and the house too.. but that is a much harder row to hoe at this point.. but I can always hope)

Edit to say, I've noticed, according to some opinions, that apparently any candidate that has received such support is a sellout and an evil water-carrier for billionaires. Any. Candidate. At. All.

They don't care about the fights progressive Dems fight in red states every day - often risking their very lives. Do they magically think that Repukes will stop passing laws denying women health care, or making lives more dangerous for transgender people if the Democrats stop accepting money from the 5%? Does attacking minority Dems magically stop the Repukes gerrymandering the hell out of the US in 2020?

No, someone recently said that 'money in elections' is starting to feel like the new 'ethics in gaming journalism' - and it just all fell into place. Gamergaters and Berniecrats - two pieces cut from the same cloth, a Venn diagram that forms a perfect circle.

Retirement is a wonderful thing.. oh lets see.. I have a new knee!!.. that is pretty darned good.. and you remember me talking about my brother who did not have access to health care.. and we were so excited when Obamacare passed.. well he finally did get health care..but it was too late.. the years of neglect had take their toll , and he died a year ago from a massive stroke..He was only 50 years old.. it was heart breaking .. He would have loved this election.. he was the one that was the Hillary campaigner when hubby and I were the Obama people in 2008.. wow time flies.. life changes..
