knew that Clinton would win, though she did outperform the polls a bit.

It's inconceivable to me that he didn't realize what he was communicating when he continually repeated that claim about the "deep South, " and the "confederacy."

"In a speech to supporters, in which she declared that "victory is in sight" in the race for the nomination, Clinton reached out to those who had backed Sanders, saying, "I believe there is much more that unites us than divides us."

All american girl wrote in another OP: "The soul of the Democratic party is the African American female voter..." Demeaning and dismissing those voters where ever they live was a huge mistake on Bernie's part.

When you start cutting out minorities and women and people over 50, you're left with only about 35% of the electorate.

..."you're left with only about 35% of the electorate."

That 35% seems to be engaged only to the extent that there's a rally.

Those voters: minorities and women are the most loyal and reliable Democratic Party voters. Shit on them and you lose. Sanders is learning this hard lesson. "Bernie Bros." won't win you elections.

and over 50, and I have not been amused at the attitude of some of the Bernie supporters to either group. One Bernie guy here said that boomers shouldn't vote because our education was so dated we didn't understand the current world. Arrogant prick!!

was saying that she needed to win by at least 10%. Not sure where they got this new rule from, but you know how the deck has been stacked against HRC. They just keep moving the goal posts.

And it's not nearly as homogenous as people perceive, it's just really loud on all sides.

I've always thought New Orleans and New York were a LOT alike, except in NOLA the food and music are better.

As one of those much maligned "Deep South" voters, I really hope Bernie felt the bern from my fellow southerners in New York!
Maybe Bernie shouldn't bash fellow democrats...oh wait...he's not a democrat.
