Oh Dear...Protesters at CA State GOP Convention (I believe it is in Burlingame) I fear that things

are getting out of control. Police trying to stop some protesters who broke down barriers and running into the hotel where the convention is taking place. I pray this does not turn violent. That plays into the hands of Trump and the GOP. Peaceful Protests please. It is unfolding right now on local TV. I live in the SF Bay Area and am not surprised that people have had it with Trump and the bigoted GOP...I certainly am disgusted by Trump. But Trump will love it if violence erupts...It will just feed his narrative.

Trump foments violence and he would welcome it, imo. All I want is for us to deny him that.

20. So glad to hear that. I had to be away from the tv etc. for a few hours and I

was getting worried when I was watching the live coverage earlier today. Glad to hear that things did not get out of hand. News still says that protesters "clashed" with police, but it obviously wasn't a riot.We need to keep the focus on countering how bigoted, divisive and sexist Trump and the GOP are. We don't want the GOP to change the topic and control the narrative of the media. Peaceful demonstrations to keep the spotlight only on Trumps bullying etc.
