Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumSo Hillary wins New York, Maryland, Connecticut, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, and she gets
trashed on DU with some of the ugliest names spewed against a Democrat on a supposedly Democratic website. Hillary loses in Indiana, and she gets trashed on DU with some of the ugliest names spewed against a Democrat on a supposedly Democratic website, and this has been going on for months.
After my last hide, and the anti-Hillary hate that is constantly spewed from 99% of the pages on this forum, I am finally convinced who I will NEVER vote for under any circumstances.
Fortunately, that most likely won't be the case

ETA: for the jury, "impotent" in the sense of "weak" or "powerless," not sexually disabled. Just to pre-clarify.

(1,933 posts)This is why I quit posting very much on here. We are all supposed to be Democrats but it appears you are a target if you even mention Hillary's name. I think Sanders tells the people exactly what they want to hear with no possible way to do all of these things he is promising. I'm voting for Hillary.

(5,256 posts). . . paid Republican trolls trying to (a) get Sanders the nomination or (b) if that fails, damage Mrs. Clinton. Their ravings are too maniacal, almost comedically so, to reach any other conclusion.
It's an online microcosm of what's happened in various primaries. Sanders can only win in open primaries (where the demos also favor him) where bunches of Rethugs and Rethug-leaning "independents" skip voting on the R side and instead vote against Hillary.
So I wouldn't lose faith in DU just yet. All of this trash should be swept up soon enough.

(6,537 posts)Who want to co-opt this website to spew their destructive venom. And make no mistake, they would turn on Bernie in a second if someone more radical showed up. Whether they will move on when the GE begins is debatable. I doubt that they will; this site is a wonderfully sophisticated and efficient vehicle to spread their politics. It has served Democrats well for years. I hope it will serve Dems in the future, but how do you protect it against a constant swarm?
To clarify, I'm not talking about most Bernie supporters here; just the dudebros, the bernieorbusters. They know who they are.

(19 posts)I want to say that I came to this conclusion a couple of months ago. I am a life long Democrat and I have never voted for a Republican, nor have I never not voted for the Democratic candidate for President. However, I had decided that would not vote for Sanders had he won the nomination. Luckily, I won't have to worry about that.

(3,284 posts)I'm so sick of the crap HRC gets. It gets depressing, day in and day out, seeing how much irrational hate is spewed her way. It sure feels like a war against women, especially the way the election is shaping up to be Hillary vs. the nastiest, most misogynist prick they could find.
I'll be the happiest person in the world the day this election is over.
